Six Pêga donkeys were used. Semen was diluted 1:3 in extenders: D1 - Botusêmen ®; D2 - Botusêmen ® + 10% egg yolk; D3 - Botusêmen ® + 10% egg yolk, centrifuged at 800 X g for 15’; D4 - Botusêmen ® + 6.8% low density lipoprotein of egg yolk. The diluted semen was submitted to the cooling rate of 0.65° C / minute to achieve 5o C. It was transported and kept in a trade refrigerator at 6° C for three days. It was used the computerized system sperm analysis (CASA) to assess the characteristics of sperm every 24 hours of the cooling period. D3 (Botusêmen + egg yolk - centrifuged) was superior compared to other extenders studied the preservation of sperm characteristics, increasing storage time, mainly distinguished themselves in the percentage of motile sperm, rapidly speed, rectilinear and curvilinear velocity of displacement.

D3 (Botusêmen + egg yolk - centrifuged) was superior compared to other extenders studied the preservation of sperm characteristics, increasing storage time, mainly distinguished themselves in the percentage of motile sperm, rapidly speed, rectilinear and curvilinear velocity of displacement.O objetivo deste experimento foi avaliar o espermatozóide asinino resfriado mantido em diferentes diluidores.
