Resumo: | Currently higher education institutions are under pressure given to the current demand for innovation of their efforts, not only in the context of research, but also in relation to education. The technological context for the insertion of digital technologies as a way to improve teaching and learning contents, procedures and attitudes are increasingly promising with the possibility of making them more suited to the reality that surrounds students. However, how teachers have appropriated these technologies for teaching in order to help their students in the construction of knowledge? Facing this question, this paper aims to investigate how music teachers of a higher education federal public institution utilize an electronic educational game as a music education tool. This work also falls within the framework of the discussions on how teacher training deals with Digital Technologies of Information and Communication, proposing an investigation of how these technologies are presented or taught during the process of teacher training, both in initial training and continued education proposals. The research methodology's focus is qualitative and descriptive. Data collection was based on empirical sources obtained from semi-structured interviews with music education teachers working in higher education at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). In addition to the analysis of data from the interviews, it was also intended to follow practical applications of the educational game Musikinésia, which could be explored into the keyboard classes of Bachelor of Music course from UFSCar as a resource that helps the students to learn the instrument keys. The results of these applications showed that, in fact, a game can bring learning benefits to students, however, it was also witnessed some difficulty by teachers in dealing with this technology, which alerts us to rethink how the preparation courses degree are training future teachers to think critically when it comes to digital technologies. |
