Mathematics Education in Rural Education: analyzing the Political Pedagogic Project of the Degree Course in Rural Education at UFSC

Resumo: This study has for purpose to identify the political, social and cultural aspects prescribed in the program for the Rural Education Degree course curriculum, at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, based on its Political Pedagogic Project. For such, we have looked upon the document in effect, and  established ranks that help us minimally understand in what way mathematics and mathematical education happen in this course. Such ranks are definem as follows: disciplines in Mathematics qualification and its relationship with the political, social and cultural spheres in Rural Areas; disciplines in Mathematical Education qualification and its relationship with the political, social and cultural spheres in Rural Areas. From this analysis emerged the hope of increasing knowledge about the Rural Education Degree course at UFSC, as well as discussing the aspects related to the training of mathematics teachers who lecture mathematics in elementary schools in a number of different socio-cultural contexts, especially in rural schools.

Para ello, ponemos la mirada en el presente documento y constituye categorías que nos ayuden a comprender, al menos, cómo se desarrollan las matemáticas y la educación matemática en el curso. Tales categorías se definen de la siguiente manera: Disciplinas de formación matemática y su relación con los aspectos políticos, sociales y culturales del Campo; disciplinas formativas La Educación Matemática y sus relaciones con los aspectos políticos, sociales y culturales del campo. A partir de este análisis, se espera profundizar el conocimiento sobre la Licenciatura en Educación Rural en la UFSC, así como problematizar los aspectos que conciernen a la formación de profesores que enseñan matemáticas en la educación básica en diferentes contextos socioculturales, especialmente en las escuelas del campo.Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar aspectos políticos, sociais e culturais prescritos na matriz curricular do curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina tomando por base seu Projeto Político Pedagógico. Para tanto, lançamos nossos olhares sobre o documento vigente e constituímos categorias que nos ajudam a compreender, minimamente, de que modo a matemática e a educação matemática acontecem no curso. Tais categorias são assim definidas: disciplinas de formação Matemática e suas relações com os aspectos políticos, sociais e culturais do Campo; disciplinas de formação Educação Matemática e suas relações com os aspectos políticos, sociais e culturais do Campo.
