STUDY OF THE NURSING PROCESS IN THE TECHNICAL NURSING COURSE: CONTRIBUTIONS FOR INTEGRAL FORMATION

Resumo: This article analyzes the possibilities of the study of the Nursing Process (NP) contributing to the comprehensive training of students in the Technical Nursing course. To this end, interviews were applied to female nurse teachers of the Nursing Technical course of the Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais, Januária Campus, and the data obtained were organized and categorized according to content analysis and, subsequently, discussed in light of the theoretical framework raised. The results achieved indicate that the study of NP in the Technical Nursing course can contribute to comprehensive training, due to the characteristics, potentialities and principles attributed to this methodology: it approaches the target of care in various dimensions, contemplates the individuality and humanity of the being, brings the nursing work closer to its educational principle, confers scientificity to nursing care, unites thinking with doing, highlights the profession's own knowledge, contributes to professional recognition and to social practice.

Para tanto, foram aplicadas entrevistas às docentes enfermeiras do curso Técnico de Enfermagem do Instituto Federal do Norte de Minas Gerais, Campus Januária, e os dados obtidos foram organizados e categorizados segundo a análise de conteúdo e, posteriormente, discutidos à luz do referencial teórico levantado. Los resultados obtenidos apuntan a que el estudio de la EP en el curso de Técnico en Enfermería puede contribuir a la formación integral, debido a las características, potencialidades y principios atribuidos a esta metodología: aborda el tema de la atención en varias dimensiones, contempla la individualidad y la humanidad del ser, aproxima el trabajo de la enfermería a su práctica educativa, confiere cientificidad al cuidado de la enfermería, une el pensar con el hacer, evidencia el conocimiento propio de la profesión, contribuye al reconocimiento profesional y a la práctica social.Este artigo analisa as possibilidades do estudo do Processo de Enfermagem (PE) contribuir para a formação integral dos alunos do curso Técnico de Enfermagem. Para tanto, foram aplicadas entrevistas às docentes enfermeiras do curso Técnico de Enfermagem do Instituto Federal do Norte de Minas Gerais, Campus Januária, e os dados obtidos foram organizados e categorizados segundo a análise de conteúdo e, posteriormente, discutidos à luz do referencial teórico levantado.
