Resumo: Health professionals are encouraged to attend a residency period of two to seven years after graduating. The typical demands of this in-service training modality have been associated with reduced sleep quality, decreased exercise frequency, and detachment from family and social relationships, leading to an increased diagnosis of anxiety, depression, and burnout syndrome. Therefore, conducting a scoping review to identify strategies aimed at promoting mental health and wellbeing among residents from different health areas is essential to support any forthcoming preventive action.
