PERCEPTION OF WORKLOAD AND EFFECTS ON LIFE QUALITY OF HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY TEACHERS

Resumo: | There are different working conditions that directly influence the workload of teachers who work in secondary education and university teachers, which has a negative impact on quality of life, it is therefore relevant a greater awareness of the context and conditions of work and the need to implement changes in work environments. This article presents the results obtained from a bibliographic review carried out between June 2020 and September 2020. The objective was to analyze the effects of workload on the quality of life of university and high school teachers in different databases, using the keywords work overload and teacher and work overload in teachers. The main results showed a high workload associated with multiple responsibilities emanating from the management of educational institutions, which generates a lack of time for personal life, psychosocial risks related to stress and physical affectations; no significant differences were found, according to the country of origin of the studies analyzed, which include articles made in continents of Europe, Asia and America. |

Este artículo presenta los resultados obtenidos a partir de una revisión bibliográfica llevada a cabo entre junio de 2020 y septiembre de 2020. El objetivo fue analizar los efectos de la carga laboral sobre la calidad de vida de docentes universitarios y de enseñanza media, según estudios publicados en diferentes bases de datos, para lo cual se realizaron búsquedas a través de la utilización de las palabras clave: work overload and teacher y sobrecarga laboral en profesores. Los principales resultados arrojaron una alta carga laboral asociada a múltiples responsabilidades emanadas desde la dirección de las instituciones educativas, lo que genera falta de tiempo para la vida personal, riesgos psicosociales relacionados con estrés y afectaciones físicas; y no se encontraron diferencias significativas según el país de origen de los estudios analizados, los que incluyen artículos realizados en los continentes de Europa, Asia y América.As diversas condições de trabalho influenciam diretamente na carga horária, tanto nos professores do ensino secundário como nos professores universitários, o que tem um impacto negativo na sua qualidade de vida, sendo portanto relevante uma maior consciência do contexto e das condições de trabalho e a necessidade de implementar mudanças no trabalho ambientes. Este artigo apresenta os resultados obtidos em uma revisão bibliográfica realizada entre junho de 2020 e setembro de 2020. O objetivo foi analisar os efeitos da carga horária na qualidade de vida de professores universitários e do ensino médio, segundo estudos publicados em diferentes bases de dados, para os quais as pesquisas foram realizadas com as palavras-chave: sobrecarga de trabalho e docente e sobrecarga de trabalho docente.
