PHYSICAL EDUCATION AS A CURRICULAR COMPONENT: INTELLECTUALS, KNOWLEDGE AND TEACHING

Resumo: | This is a theoretical study that aimed to reflect on the theoretical-practical developments of what it means to treat Physical Education as a curricular component. The motivation for writing this work goes back to the author's experiences as a basic education teacher. For the theoreticalmethodological progress of the study, we made use of a specialized discussion of the area on the subject, guided by questions related to the Physical Education teacher as an intellectual, the meaning of the term curricular component, the knowledge that Physical Education addresses at school and the didactic consequences of thinking about the thematization of body culture of movement in basic schooling. The study pointed out that the condition of a curricular component delegates to Physical Education a set of responsibilities and rights, which revolve around the tension between its historical logic of school activity, with the contemporary meaning that we claim as a curricular component with the status of a discipline school education. |

La motivación para escribir este trabajo se remonta a las experiencias del autor como docente de educación básica. Para el avance teórico-metodológico del estudio, se hizo uso de una discusión especializada del área en el tema, pautada por cuestiones relacionadas con el docente de Educación Física como intelectual, el significado del término componente curricular, los conocimientos que tiene la Educación Física. abordajes en la escuela y las consecuencias didácticas de pensar la tematización de la cultura corporal del movimiento en la escolaridad básica. El estudio señaló que la condición de componente curricular delega a la Educación Física un conjunto de responsabilidades y derechos, que giran en torno a la tensión entre su lógica histórica de la actividad escolar, con el significado contemporáneo que reivindicamos como componente curricular con estatus de componente curricular. una disciplina educación escolar.Trata-se de um estudo teórico que teve como objetivo refletir sobre os desenvolvimentos teórico-práticos do que significa tratar a Educação Física como componente curricular. Para o andamento teórico-metodológico do estudo, recorremos a uma discussão especializada da área sobre o tema, norteada por questões relacionadas ao professor de Educação Física como intelectual, ao significado do termo componente curricular, aos conhecimentos que a Educação Física aborda na escola e como consequências didáticas de pensar a tematização da cultura corporal de movimento na escolarização básica. O estudo observou que a condição do componente curricular delegado à Educação Física é um conjunto de responsabilidades e direitos, que gira em torno da tensão entre sua lógica histórica de atividade escolar, com o sentido contemporâneo que reivindicamos como componente curricular com status de uma disciplina.
