Covid-19 preventive measures for the return to school: Documents from 13 Countries

Resumo: Policies of social isolation responding to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic have led to the closing of schools in more than 190 countries. Schools are organizing their structure and functioning so that the reopening takes place in the safest way possible. The purpose of this article is to list the biosafety measures adopted by other countries when returning to classes for students aged 10 to 19 years. Protocols for reopening educational institutions in 13 countries were analyzed. Provisions were identified regarding who can attend school, personal hygiene and school cleaning, wearing masks and social distancing. The reopening of schools must take into account the epidemiological situation of each region and the infrastructure conditions of each institution.

Las escuelas están organizando su estructura y funcionamiento para que la reapertura tenga lugar de la manera más segura posible. El propósito de este artículo fue enumerar las medidas de bioseguridad adoptadas por otros países al regresar a clases para estudiantes de 10 a 19 años. Se analizaron protocolos para la reapertura de instituciones educativas en 13 países. Se identificaron disposiciones sobre quién puede asistir a la escuela, higiene personal y limpieza escolar, usar máscaras y distancia social. La reapertura de las escuelas debe tener en cuenta la situación epidemiológica de cada región y las condiciones de infraestructura de cada institución.As políticas de isolamento social respondentes à pandemia do SARS-CoV-2 ocasionaram o fechamento de escolas em mais de 190 países. As escolas estão organizando sua estrutura e funcionamento para que a reabertura se dê da forma mais segura possível. O presente artigo teve por objetivo arrolar as medidas de biossegurança adotadas por outros países no retorno às aulas de alunos na faixa etária dos 10 aos 19 anos. Analisou-se protocolos para reabertura das instituições educacionais de 13 países. Foram identificadas providências em relação a quem pode frequentar a escola, higiene pessoal e limpeza da escola, uso de máscaras e distanciamento social.
