Resumo: We seek to answer whether, theoretically and analytically, it makes sense to name the public policies of sharing the tasks of care between women and the State from the perspective of defamilization in Gosta Esping-Andersen. The criticism addressed in this text refers to the fact that the responsibilities with reproductive work were never familized to be defamilized, but based on gender. In addition, the paper will seek to analyze the effects of the overload of care tasks on women's access to the world of work and the centrality of care in new public policy designs in Brazil. The methodological construction of the present work is based on an exploratory research, seeking to understand two central points: a) the use of the term defamilization for drawings of sharing between family and state of the tasks of care and well-being; and b) analysis of the effects of the overload of care tasks on women's access to the world of work. To answer the first question, the article will have a descriptive analysis, using qualitative data collection in bibliographic research. and b) analysis of the effects of the overload of care tasks on women's access to the world of work. To answer the first question, the article will have a descriptive analysis, using qualitative data collection in bibliographic research. To answer the second question, the methodological structure will rely on quantitative data analysis from the variables birth rate in Brazil and activity rate of women from 16 to 59 years of age, both variables with IBGE source and time frame of 10 years, between 2012 and 2022. Finally, the paper will integrate in its text, in a descriptive way, the designs of public care policies in Brazil for the same period.
