Resumo:  Responses of Anastrepha fraterculus (Wied.) adulta to twelve natural and sweeted fruit juices were studied. With natural juices, highest captures occurred on traps baited with peach, "guabiroba", black berry, and orange, whereas with sweetish juices were on feijoa, "guabiroba", Brazilian guava, peach and guava. For all juices, more females than males were captured when they were sweeted. With natural juices, highest captures of females occurred on peach, "guabiroba", orange, black berry and Brazilian guava, and with sweetish juices were on Brazilian guava, "guabiroba", feijoa, peach and guava. Highest increasing in captures of females, when sugar was added, occurred on Brazilian guava, feijoa, "guabiroba", guava and wild cherry juices.

Respostas sobre atração a diferentes sucos de frutas para os adultos de Anastrepha fraterculus (Wied.) (Diptera, Tephritidae) foram estudadas. Doze diferentes sucos de frutas, naturais e adoçados, foram avaliados. Em sucos naturais, as maiores capturas totais ocorreram nos de pêssego, guabiroba, amora preta, laranja crioula e, em sucos adoçados, foram nos de feijoa, guabiroba, araçá, pêssego e goiaba. Em todos os sucos, mais fêmeas do que machos foram capturados, quando se adicionou açúcar. Em sucos naturais, as maiores capturas de fêmeas foram nos de pêssego, guabiroba, laranja crioula, amora preta, faça e, em sucos adoçados, nos de araçá, guabiroba, feijão, pêssego e goiaba. Os maiores aumentos de capturas de fêmeas, quando se adicionou açúcar ao suco, aconteceram com os de araçá, feijão, guabiroba, goiaba e cereja do mato.
