Soybean yield in grain production systems with annual winter and summer pastures under no-tillage

Resumo: The objective of th is study was to determine soybean plant height and yield, during a eigth-year period, in production systems of grain crops and annual winter and summerpastures. Six production systems were evaluated: system I (wheat/soybean, black oat + common vetch pasture/com); system II (wheat/soybean, black oat + common vetch + ryegrass pasture/com); system III (wheat/soybean, black oat + common vetch pasture/pearl millet pasture); system IV (wheat/soybean, black oat 4 common vetch + ryegrass pasture/pearl millet pasture); system V (wheat/ soybean, white oat/soybean, and black oat + common vetch pasture/pearl millet pasture); and system VI (wheat/ soybean, white oat/soybean, and black oat + common vetch + ryegrass pasture/pearl millet pasture). Treatments were randomly distributed in blocks and replicated four times. Soybean presented higher yield after wheat, in the systems VI, V, IV, I, 111, and II, than after white oat. Nevertheless, soybean yield, in the three last systems, was not different from the yield of soybean cultivated after white oat, in system V. Soybean after white oat, in system VI, did not differ from soybean after wheat, in system II.

O presente estudo avaliou, durante oito safras, o efeito de sistemas de produção incluindo pastagens anuais de inverno e de verão sobre a estatura de plantas e o rendimento de grãos de soja. Os tratamentos foram constituídos por seis sistemas de produção mistos: sistema 1 (trigo/soja e pastagem de aveia preta + ervilhaca/ milho); sistema II (trigo/soja e pastagem de aveia preta + ervilhaca + azevém/milho); sistema III (trigo/soja e pasta- gem de aveia preta + ervilhaca/pastagem de milheto); sistema 1V (trigo/soja e pastagem de aveia preta + ervilhaca + azevém/pastagem de milheto); sistema V (trigo/soja, aveia branca/soja e pastagem de aveia preta + ervilhaca/ pastagem de milheto); e sistema VI (trigo/soja, aveia branca/soja e pastagem de aveia preta + ervilhaca + azevém/ pastagem de milheto). Os tratamentos foram distribuídos em blocos ao acaso com quatro repetições. Soja cultivada após trigo, em todos os sistemas, VI, V, IV, I, 111 e II, apresentou rendimento de grãos mais elevado que soja após aveia branca. Entretanto, soja cultivada nos três últimos sistemas apresentou rendimento de grãos semelhante estatisticamente ao de soja cultivada após aveia branca, no sistema V.
