Resumo: Objective: to discuss the scientific evidence on the use of preoperative teleconsultation in the context of outpatient surgery, providing effective preparation for the surgical anesthetic process. Method: this integrative review with a search in the electronic databases Medline, Embase, Lilacs and Cinahl, based on the terms controlled and synonyms remote consultation, preoperative care and ambulatory surgical procedures. Results: 11 studies were included. The evidence found was related to effectiveness and safety of preoperative teleconsultation, acess to health care, patient satisfaction and cost analysis. Conclusion: it was shown that preoperative teleconsultation in the outpatient context is effective and safe, favors equal acess to health services, reduces direct and indirect costs and patient satisfaction was excellent.  Keywords: Remote Consultation; Preoperative Care; Perioperative Nursing; Ambulatory Surgical Procedures

Método: esta es una revisión integradora con una búsqueda en las bases de datos electrónicas Medline, Embase, Lilacs y Cinahl, a partir de los términos controlados y sinónimos consulta remota, atención preoperatoria y procedimientos quirúrgicos ambulatórios. Resultados: se incluyeron 11 estudios. La evidencia encontrada estaba relacionada con la efectividad y seguridade de la teleconsulta preoperatoria, el acceso a la atención médica, la satisfacción del paciente y el análisis de costos. Conclusión: se demonstró que la teleconsulta preoperatoria en el contexto ambulatorio es efectiva y segura, favorece el acceso igualitario a los servicios de salud, reduce costos directos e indirectos y la satisfacción de los pacientes fue excelente.   Palabras clave: Consulta Remota; Atención Preoperatoria; Enfermagem Perioperatoria; Procedimientos Quirúrgicos Ambulatorios.    Objetivo: discutir as evidências científicas sobre a utilização da teleconsulta no pré-operatório para o contexto da cirurgia ambulatorial, proporcionando um preparo efetivo ao processo anestésico cirúrgico. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com busca nas bases de dados eletrônicas Medline, Embase, Lilacs e Cinahl, a partir dos termos controlados e sinôminos, consulta remota, cuidados pré-operatórios e procedimentos cirúrgicos ambulatoriais. Resultados: foram incluídos 11 estudos. As evidências encontradas foram relacionadas à efetividade e segurança da teleconsulta pré-operatória, acesso à assistência à saúde, satisfação dos pacientes e análise de custos.
