Interface entre o conteúdo de instrumentos para avaliação do autocuidado de pessoas com estomias intestinais

Objective: to describe the interface between the content of instruments for assessing self-care of people with intestinal stomas. Methods: this is a descriptive, qualitative and documental study. This was followed by the steps of pre-analysis, material organization and data analysis. Data collection took place in repositories of three international universities. In the analysis, the data were compared, identifying the points of convergence between the content of the instruments. Results: three instruments that assess the self-care of people with intestinal stomas were included. The forms have specific content and share themes, namely: professional advice, types of collection equipment, stoma and peristomal skin hygiene and exchange of collection equipment. Final considerations: the forms have common and specific contents. However, they have different theoretical conceptions about self-care, which gives a diversified content, which must be evaluated before using the instrument, with a view to meeting the objectives of health professionals and people with stomas. It confirms that in the absence of national instruments, the search for international instruments becomes an alternative, as has already been happening with other themes and when knowing the interfaces between the instruments, the choice becomes more assertive for the implementation of a technology for use effective in Brazil.
