Resumo: Objective: To report the experience of a training conducted by Indigenous Health nurses on first aid for Indigenous Health Agents of an indigenous territory located in Mato Grosso do Sul. Method: This is an experience report, descriptive in nature and qualitative in approach, of a first aid training on urgencies and emergencies for indigenous health agents (IHA) working in indigenous territory in Mato Grosso do Sul, carried out by Indigenous Health nurses. The training took place in September 2022, in which 25 AIS participated. For the training, it was approached in three modules: I) theoretical, II) demonstrative and III) practical, followed by an evaluation of the content exposed. Results: The training addressed only the most frequent situations in the regional indigenous community. In module I, the theoretical part on the subject was presented, exposing in detail the main information. In module II, the demonstrative part was addressed, showing the situations that can occur and how to act, using realistic simulation dolls to make the situation similar to the real one. In module III, the contents were exposed in a practical way, in which hypothetical situations were given for the IHA to act according to what was learned, using the role-play technique. At the end, a round of conversations and feedback were held to evaluate the activity. Final considerations: The report provided a detailed account of the experience of a training course conducted by indigenous health nurses on first aid for indigenous health agents, which proved to be very successful.
