CONSTRUCTION OF THE CLINICAL NURSING PROTOCOL FOR INVESTIGATION OF ENDOMETRIOSIS IN PRIMARY HEALTH CARE

Objective: Development of a Nursing clinical protocol for investigating the risk of developing endometriosis in primary care. Method: Methodological study involving the construction of a measuring instrument. The construction was carried out through an integrative literature review. After the construction, the instrument was submitted to evaluation by a committee of five specialists, who are doctors in Nursing with expertise in the topic addressed, and using the Content Validity Index (CVI) to calculate the level of agreement among them. Results: The instrument was constructed containing nine domains: identification, sociodemographic profile, gynecological and obstetric antecedents, family history, lifestyle and psychosocial factors, outpatient evaluation, gynecological clinical evaluation: anamnesis, outpatient evaluation, gynecological clinical evaluation: physical examination and risk classification, and flowchart of procedures. In the expert committee evaluation phase, the five judges evaluated the instrument by assigning values of I-CVI (0.86 and 1.00) to each domain. Conclusion: The preliminary instrument was considered valid for its intended purposes, and it is recommended that it undergo a more detailed process of evaluating its psychometric properties.
