Resumo: Abstract: Pressure injuries that occur during hospitalization are a negative parameter of care quality, generating costs for the hospital, patients and family members. Although, it can be prevent by action that has cost for the hospital. Objective: to analyze, through the systematic review, the costs related to the treatment and prevention of pressure injury. Methodology: Systematic review, whose guiding question was: what is the cost of prevention and treatment of pressure injury in hospitalized patients? The search of the studies was performed in the VHL, PubMed / MedLine and CINAHL, the results were analyzed by the PRISMA method. Results: A total of 1287 articles were found, 131 were selected, being 32 the final sample. Treatment costs were higher especially for sacral lesions and lesions with more advanced classification. Conclusion: The costs of treatment are higher than with preventive measures, and more studies about this theme are necessary.

Entretanto, essas lesões podem ser prevenidas por ações que geram custos para instituição hospitalar. Objetivo: analisar, por meio da revisão sistemática, os custos relacionados ao tratamento e prevenção da lesão por pressão. Metodologia: Revisão sistemática, cuja questão norteadora foi: qual custo da prevenção e tratamento da lesão por pressão em pacientes internados em âmbito hospitalar? A busca dos estudos foi realizada na BVS, PubMed/MedLine e CINAHL,os resultados foram analisados pelo método PRISMA. Resultados: Foram encontrados 1287 artigos, elegíveis 131 sendo a amostra final de 32. Os custos com o tratamento foram maiores principalmente das lesões sacrais e as de classificação mais avançadas.
