Resumo: Objective: To examine and map the scientific evidence on the clinical management of septic patients in the covid-19 ICU. Methods: Scoping Review, based on procedures recommended by the Joanna Briggs Institute. The guiding question was established: “What is the scientific evidence on clinical nursing management in patients with sepsis in the covid ICU?”. Searches were carried out in the following databases: Scielo, PubMed, Lilacs and Portal da Capes, on works published until August 2022. Of the 118 studies found, 06 were selected for full reading, resulting in a final sample of 05 studies analyzed. Results: The five publications analyzed were published in 2021. The selected studies on the subject are national and international and have quantitative, qualitative and qualiquantitativeapproaches. The objects of the studies were similar, since most portrayed nursing care in septic patients affected by covid-19. Conclusions: The results of this review showed a lack of national and international studies on the early identification and clinical management of the septic patient affected by covid-19. The relevance of the topic and its complexity highlight the need for research on the subject.
