Resumo: | Objective: To identify factors associated with loss of fear of HIV / AIDS infection among men who have sex with other men through relationship applications. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional, exploratory, quantitative study developed through epidemiological inquiry, using information technology. The source population of the study were residents of cities in the North, Northeast, South, Southeast, and Midwest of the country. Data were exported to the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 20.0 program for appropriate statistical analysis. Analysis of the factors associated with the loss of fear of HIV / AIDS infection among men who have sex with men (MSM) through relationship applications has led to the conclusion that the main reason for MSM to rely on sexual partners was to have more of a sexual relationship with him (42.7%) or to observe that in the general aspect the partner has no risk for them (34.7%), which creates a confidence and consequently does not use the condom. Conclusion: In view of this, it is expected that integrated interventions will be carried out with this population group, mainly aimed at sexual health, alcohol and other drugs use, preventive means, search for information and knowledge about the main infectious diseases, especially the HIV, providing healthy development among MSM. |
