Resumo: This research aims to bring information that contributes satisfactorily to the study of reinforced concrete walls molded in loco, addressing the history of this construction system and indications for the constituent stages of works of this nature. A greater focus was given to the structural behavior of the walls, in which buildings of 5, 15 and 45 floors were analyzed, which are buildings with the use of the construction system in the national scenario, with different typologies concerning their destination to the population. For the 5-floor typology, a comparative analysis was carried out between building on conventional concrete and cellular concrete walls since the use of the latter is in constant discussion by the technical environment. Similarly, for the 15-floor typology, a comparison was made between concrete wall and structural masonry, since they are competing methodologies and this number of floors can be considered a maximum limit for the non-use of reinforced masonry. A third analysis was carried out for a high building with concrete walls, since the number of floors defined is a value close to the highest building of this methodology in Brazil. The analyzes was carried out in software based on the calculation of the Finite Element Method (FEM), showing results, through contour maps, referring to efforts, stresses, displacements, and steel area necessary for the design. Checks for overall stability of buildings in reinforced concrete walls were carried out, as well as checks for the design of a given wall of all models analyzed. From the obtained results it can be concluded that using the calculation methods already established for structural masonry is valid, since the structural behavior of the buildings were quite similar. Regarding the building of 5 floors using cellular concrete, the analyzed wall could not be designed for compression, and limitations for its use should be reviewed. From the obtained results in this research, it seems that buildings in concrete walls have excellent behavior due to horizontal actions, since all the walls act as braces and they have a high self-weight turning out to be a set of great rigidity.

Submitted by Biblioteca Central (biblioteca@unicap.br) on 2021-05-24T14:11:40Z No. of bitstreams: 2 Ok_amancio_cruz_filgueira_filho.pdf: 10156524 bytes, checksum: c364812f8a178e6d669c3fcab88b5b5e (MD5) license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-05-24T14:11:41Z (GMT).
