Resumo: Facebook is the platform with the largest number of active users, around 2.910 billion (Kemp, 2022). The objective of our article is to analyze how self-narratives become collective memories, based on the rules of Facebook itself and social memory scholars. We conclude that Facebook is close to the practices of writing diaries prior to the internet, but the interaction of users transforms them into a dynamic and collective process.
