Resumo: | Chemical dependency is considered a complex phenomenon that involves different emotional experiences, and that can lead to risky behaviors. In the same direction, bodily practices of adventure also allow experience different sensations to be held in environment full of uncertainties. The drug treatment involves a multidisciplinary team, in which the physical education professional can is inserted, in order to develop bodily practices towards social rehabilitation. Thus, the study aims to discuss the importance of including bodily practices of adventure as facilitating mechanism in the treatment of chemical dependency as a means of seeking new sensations and emotions. Thus, the paper presents three analytical categories of discussion, the first is the pursuit of pleasure at risk: drug use, pointing the increasing use of drugs in Brazil, besides presenting the losses related to biopsychosocial factors; the second category called the pursuit of pleasure at risk: the bodily practices of adventure, featuring the pleasurable sensations caused by the risk controlled; and the third concerns the pursuit of pleasure at risk: the bodily practices of adventure and drug use, which stresses the demand of the subject by experience strong emotions in a society increasingly scarce vertigo. It is concluded that the drug user acquires deviant behavior, possessing peculiar and antisocial aspects. On the other hand, the body practices of adventure can help the practitioner to manage and regulate their emotional experiences. Thus, the study theoretically contributes to future studies and unique. |
