Resumo: Regarding Electoral Geography, this research intends to investigate events about politics of parties and election. The main objective is analyzing characteristics about voters` decision of vote in Guarapuava-PR, if the identification is with the party or with the politician. Before we discussed about Electoral Geography and Electoral Behavior where the objective was analyzing the main theories that explain electoral behavior and decision regarding the vote. Reading and analysis of main power groups` characteristics in Guarapuava were done to carry out the proposal above. Through reading and analysis, it was possible to realize that power groups influence the identification with the politician since they always do many things to get the politic power. The methodological procedures were based by questionnaires, interviews with politician and analysis of newspaper reports. The diagnostic about voters` decision of vote in Guarapuava was done starting from focus in power groups. The result of the research was that Guarapuavanos voters vote specially because identification with the politician. Politician` personal characteristics are more important than party they belong.

Politician` personal characteristics are more important than party they belong.No âmbito da Geografia Eleitoral, busca-se, neste trabalho, averiguar fenômenos pertencentes à política partidária e as eleições. Assim, o objetivo principal é o de analisar as características da decisão do voto do eleitor de Guarapuava-PR, se atrelada a identificação partidária ou a identificação pessoal. Inicialmente estabelecemos uma discussão acerca da Geografia Eleitoral e Comportamento Eleitoral com o intuito de analisar as principais teorias explicativas sobre o comportamento eleitoral e a decisão do voto. Para esta abordagem foram realizadas leituras e analisadas as principais características dos grupos de poder em Guarapuava. Através do conjunto das abordagens percebeu-se que os mesmos contribuem para o fortalecimento da identificação pessoal, tendo em vista as ações impetradas por estes para manter-se no poder político. Os procedimentos metodológicos se fundamentaram na aplicação de questionários e realização de entrevistas com políticos e, ainda, a análise de reportagens de jornais. A partir dos enfoques sobre os grupos de poder realizou-se uma abordagem para o diagnóstico da decisão do voto do eleitorado de Guarapuava. A pesquisa demonstrou que os eleitores guarapuavanos votam primordialmente em função dos aspectos pessoais dos candidatos, ou seja, prevalece a identificação pessoal em detrimento da identificação partidária.Made available in DSpace on 2016-09-20T12:30:31Z (GMT).
