CAPS Amazônia and the impacts of COVID-19 on service supply and demand: a look from Social Work

Resumo: This article presents the topic related to experiences and changes during the pandemic at CAPS Amazônia. The transformations took place through public policies and decrees between the years 2020 and 2021, so the decrees were implemented to reconfigure the space and services for users in defense of the social rights and mental health of professionals and users. at. During the transformations, a waiting room was implemented, for qualified assistance, with careful assistance. Having as a general objective the understanding and the main causes of the difficulties in the attendance of the user population of the CAPS Amazônia during the period of Covid-19, years 2020 and 2021, having as specific objectives, to know the trajectory of the health policy, to study the consequences of the pandemic in the years 2020 and 2021 and learn about the work process of the Social Worker during the Covid-19 pandemic. The objective of the CAPS is to promote the provision of mental health services and social monitoring of users, reintegrating them into social life in the family environment.

As transformações ocorreram por meio de políticas públicas e decretos entre os anos de 2020 e 2021, portanto os decretos foram implementados para reconfigurar o espaço e atendimentos dos/as usuários/as em defesa dos direitos sociais e saúde mental do/a profissional e usuários/as. Durante as transformações foi implementado a sala de espera, para o atendimento qualificado, com uma assistência cautelosa. Tendo como objetivo geral a compreensão e as principais causas das dificuldades no atendimento da população usuária do CAPS Amazônia durante o período da Covid-19, anos 2020 e 2021, tendo como objetivos específicos, conhecer a trajetória da política de saúde, estudar as consequências da pandemia nos anos 2020 e 2021 e conhecer o processo de trabalho de trabalho do/a Assistente Social durante a pandemia da Covid-19.
