The importance of Emmy Noether for the inclusion of women in Higher Education and in the development of mathematical studies

Resumo: | This paper addresses the life and work of Amalie “Emmy” Noether. It briefly discusses some of her scientific contributions for educational purposes in the areas of mathematics and gender. From a literature review, this work brings some of Emmy Noether’s biography and selects some of her key contributions throughout her life. The results obtained and discussed are about her innovations and the relevance of gender isonomy in education that contribute to the scientific development and to the democracy of education. To achieve these results an indirect bibliographic research was done. |

Discute, brevemente, algumas de suas contribuições científicas, com fins educativos nas áreas da matemática e de gênero. A partir de uma revisão de literatura, este trabalho traz um pouco da biografia de Emmy Noether e seleciona algumas de suas principais contribuições ao longo de sua vida. Os resultados obtidos e discutidos são a respeito de suas inovações e da relevância da isonomia de gênero na educação que contribuem para o desenvolvimento científico e para a democracia da educação.
