Teacher education in the field of STS Education: what reveal the theses and dissertations published in the CTD CAPES between 2011 and 2020

Resumo: | This State of Knowledge study aims to investigate researches on teacher education in the field of STS Education through a bibliographic survey of Theses and Dissertations published in the CAPES CTD between 2011 and 2020, seeking to identify the formative objectives and didactic-pedagogical resources present in the 219 works related to the theme. Based on Bardin's Content Analysis, the following categories were constituted: Formative Objectives, Methodological didactic resources used, Type of training and Contemplated areas. The results point to the main paths and trends of these studies, elucidating the recent panorama of teacher education in the STS educational perspective, highlighting as main formative objectives the promotion of Critical Thinking, understanding of STS Relations, Literacy and Scientific-Technological Literacy, while Contextualization and Problematization, Systematization of activities and Investigative Activities constitute the most used methodological resources. On the other hand, initial training was the most explored modality, and the area of Science and Higher Education prevails. |

On the other hand, initial training was the most explored modality, and the area of Science and Higher Education prevails.Este estudio Estado del Conocimiento tiene como objetivo analizar investigaciones sobre la formación docente en el campo de la Educación CTS a través de una encuesta bibliográfica de Tesis y Disertaciones publicadas en la CTD CAPES entre 2011 y 2020, buscando identificar los objetivos formativos y los recursos didáctico-pedagógicos presentes en los 219 trabajos relacionados con el tema. Con base en el Análisis de Contenido de Bardin, se constituyeron las siguientes categorías: Objetivos Formativos, Recursos didácticos metodológicos utilizados, Tipo de formación y Áreas contempladas. Los resultados apuntan a los principales caminos y tendencias de estos estudios, dilucidando el panorama reciente de la formación docente en la perspectiva educativa CTS, destacando como principales objetivos formativos la promoción del Pensamiento Crítico, la comprensión de las Relaciones CTS, la Alfabetización y la Alfabetización Científico-Tecnológica, mientras que la Contextualización y Problematización, la Sistematización de actividades y las Actividades Investigativas constituyen los recursos metodológicos más utilizados. Por otro lado, la formación inicial fue la modalidad más explorada, y prevalece el área de Ciencias y Educación Superior.Este estudo, do tipo Estado do Conhecimento, investiga pesquisas sobre formação docente no âmbito da Educação em Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (CTS) por meio de levantamento bibliográfico de trabalhos publicados no Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações (CTD) da Fundação Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) entre 2011 e 2020. Buscou-se identificar objetivos formativos e recursos didático-pedagógicos presentes nas 219 teses e dissertações (TD) encontradas. Com base na Análise de Conteúdo, constituíram-se as categorias: Objetivos formativos; Recursos didático-metodológicos utilizados; Tipo de formação; e Áreas contempladas. Os resultados apontam caminhos e tendências, elucidando o panorama da formação docente na Educação CTS, destacando como principais objetivos formativos: promoção do Pensamento Crítico; Compreensão de Relações CTS; Alfabetização e Letramento Científico-Tecnológico. Contextualização e Problematização; Sistematização de atividades e Atividades investigativas constituem os recursos metodológicos mais utilizados.
