Resumo: The education public politics adopt as from the reason the economic neoliberalism for countries the Latina America in the decade the 1990 affect and transform the education measures yourselves. In Brazil, the change to bring on, among other initiative, in the movement for education decentralize or municipalization the teaching, whereon was intensive in the State São Paulo. Approximately fifteen years after this alterations is important to know the impact to be caused by this education public politics in the teaching municipal systems and your implication in the course and, consequently, in the science learning, diagnosing positive aspects and your limitations. Therefore, was to make a quality research with focals groups and interview no structure with teachers the Cesário Lange/SP city for analyze the results this education public politics in that education context.

As políticas públicas educacionais adotadas a partir das premissas do neoliberalismo econômico por países da América Latina na década de 1990 afetaram e transformaram as medidas educacionais dos mesmos. No Brasil, as mudanças acarretam, dentre outras iniciativas, no movimento para descentralização da educação também conhecido por municipalização do ensino, o qual foi intensivo no estado de São Paulo. (PROPONHO) No Brasil, dentre as reformas educacionais, ocorreu o movimento pela descentralização da educação ou municipalização do ensino, o qual foi intensivo no estado de São Paulo. Aproximadamente quinze anos após as reformas é importante conhecer o impacto causado por esta política pública educacional nos sistemas de ensino municipais bem como suas implicações no currículo e, consequentemente, na aprendizagem do ensino de ciências, identificando aspectos positivos e suas limitações. Para tanto, este artigo apresenta os resultados obtidos, inicialmente, por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa com grupos focais e entrevista semi estruturada com professores do munícipio de Cesário Lange/SP a fim de analisar o movimento de descentralização nesse contexto educacional.
