Resumo: This paper demonstrates a theoretical discussion based in a PhD thesis that focus on discuss the model about the b-learning in Graduations Courses on Sciences and Mathematics. The focus of the paper is to analyze and evaluate the teacher like mediator and your capacity to increase the “Social Presence” in the model of distance learning, that focus on pedagogical formation of the professional in education on the process of teaching and learning at private universities. Actually students and teachers are facing new situations of learning, it’s important to understand how teacher and student behave on the new paradigm. It`s necessary to note the importance of the teacher in the mediation process, because in the current scenario, this one occupies other role in the exercise of their profession, not any less important, but differentiated. Beyond that, the teacher is responsible for creating new situations of learning in a ambient controlled by technology, whose challenge is constant. Counterpointing to this scenario, its notable his work in the classroom, in which the teacher is valued for its physical presence or the learning environments.

Counterpointing to this scenario, its notable his work in the classroom, in which the teacher is valued for its physical presence or the learning environments.O presente artigo apresenta uma discussão baseada em uma pesquisa de doutorado que objetiva discutir a semipresencialidade, nos cursos de licenciatura nas áreas de Ciências e Matemática. O enfoque está na análise e na avaliação da figura do professor tutor como mediador do processo de ensino e aprendizagem e facilitador da “Presença Social” em disciplinas oferecidas na modalidade a distância, que visam à formação pedagógica do futuro profissional da educação em uma Universidade privada da cidade de São Paulo. Alunos e professores, atualmente, estão diante de situações diferenciadas de ensino e aprendizagem; neste sentido é importante tentarmos entender como esses sujeitos do processo se comportam diante do novo paradigma. Faz-se necessário analisar e avaliar a importância do professor no processo de mediação, pois, no cenário atual, este passa a ocupar outro papel no exercício da profissão, não menos importante, mas diferenciado. Além de ser o responsável por criar situações de aprendizagem em um ambiente moderado pela tecnologia, cujo desafio é constante.
