The instrumentalization process in Science education: a review on the use of digital technologies

Resumo: | The instrumentalization of digital technologies in the Sciences of Nature is a characteristic common to this field. In this sense, the present study proposed to analyze how such technologies have been considered in different spaces linked to Science Teaching. For this, systematic review of the works present in the annals of the last five editions of the National Research Meeting in Science Education was carried out in the light of the principles of Critical Discourse Analysis. Based on the 83 selected works, it was possible to identify a utilitarian profile regarding the immersion of digital technologies in teaching experiences in Chemistry, Biology and Physics, while in the interdisciplinary field such experiences proved to be even more instrumental in the face of a student age group more restricted, as is the case of Elementary Education II. It was also noticeable the dispersion of digital technologies with the CTSA approach, a fact that has been diluting the cultural and socio-political singularities of technological artifacts. It is understood, therefore, that such artifacts can offer conditions for the faculty and student body to view the contents not only in a functional way, but also the potential transformers that digital technologies can provide. |

El presente estudio se propuso analizar cómo se han considerado tales tecnologías en diferentes espacios vinculados a la Docencia de las Ciencias. Para ello, se realizó una revisión sistemática de los trabajos presentes en los anales de las últimas cinco ediciones del Encuentro Nacional de Investigación en Educación Científica a la luz de los principios del Análisis Crítico del Discurso. Con los 83 trabajos seleccionados, fue posible identificar un perfil utilitario en cuanto a la inmersión de las tecnologías digitales en las experiencias en Química, Biología, y Física, mientras en el campo interdisciplinario tales experiencias resultaron ser aún más instrumentales a un alumno. grupo de edad más restringido, como es el caso de Educación Primaria II. También se notó la dispersión de las tecnologías digitales en medio del enfoque de CTSA, hecho que ha ido diluyendo las singularidades culturales y sociopolíticas de los artefactos tecnológicos. Se entiende, por tanto, que tales artefactos pueden ofrecer condiciones para que el cuerpo docente y estudiantil vean los contenidos no solo de manera funcional, sino también los potenciales transformadores que las tecnologías digitales pueden brindar.A instrumentalização das tecnologias digitais nas Ciências da Natureza é uma característica comum a esse campo do saber. Nesse sentido, o presente estudo se propôs a analisar de que forma tais tecnologias vêm sendo consideradas em diferentes espaços vinculados ao Ensino de Ciências. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática dos trabalhos presentes nos anais das últimas cinco edições do Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (ENPEC) à luz dos princípios da Análise Crítica do Discurso. Com base nos 83 trabalhos selecionados, foi possível identificar um perfil utilitarista no que tange à imersão das tecnologias digitais em experiências de ensino de Química, Biologia e Física, enquanto que no campo interdisciplinar tais experiências se mostraram ainda mais instrumentais frente a uma faixa etária estudantil mais restrita, como é o caso do Ensino Fundamental II. Foi perceptível ainda a dispersão das tecnologias digitais em meio à abordagem Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente (CTSA), fato que vem diluindo as singularidades culturais e sociopolíticas dos artefatos tecnológicos.
