Moon club: the astronomy club of children from the inicial years of elementary school

Resumo: The work alludes to the realization of pedagogical practices on Astronomy-Astronautics, developed in a science club, at a public school. The activities were carried out with a view to the Maker and STEM / STEAM movement, with children from the 3rd grade of elementary school, a teacher and a graduate student. Among the actions taken to enhance the scientific literacy process of those involved are: elaboration of interactive activities, use of digital media for scientific appropriation and dissemination, research by different means, content approaches through practical experiences and workshops, artistic productions, cultural exhibition, environmental study activity and participation in an academic event. It is emphasized that the individual initiatives of teachers, when showing significant results, must be incorporated by the school so that it becomes institutional projects.

As atividades foram realizadas tendo em vista o movimento Maker e STEM/STEAM, com crianças do 3º ano do Ensino Fundamental, uma professora e uma estagiária. Dentre as ações realizadas para potencializar o processo de alfabetização científica dos envolvidos, destacam-se: elaboração de atividades interativas, o uso de mídias para a apropriação e divulgação científica, pesquisas por diferentes meios, abordagens de conteúdos através de experiências práticas e oficinas, produções artísticas, exposição cultural, atividade de estudo do meio e participação em evento acadêmico.
