Practical and experimental activities for teaching Science beyond the barries of the lab developed in initial teacher training

Resumo: This article presents the results of a research realized in a discipline of the last period of Interdisciplinary Degree in Natural Sciences, in a public University of Paraná, which aims the approximation of students in initial teacher training with the educational reality. During this experience and investigative purposes it was observed that despite the existence of alternatives presented in the literature, there is still the need for materials to support the teaching of Sciences directed to the last year of elementary school II. Based on the premise that classes planned for environments outside of the classroom or lab can be highly significant to the teaching-learning process, it was developed a teaching material using bibliographic research methodology of practical activities/experimental and modifications covering contents provided for in the school curriculum and the current textbook. The structure of the material was divided into six themes, an approach of specific content associated with a practical activity/experimental. It is important to point out that this work do not intend to resolve the diversity of confrontation that Brazilian education features, but propose diversified tools in a single material covering adaptations of "conventional" and investigative activities to instrumentalize the proper teacher to its reality to work the scientific content. It should be noted as a important result the teaching methodology that provided the experience of investigative actions in the initial teacher training in the reality of teaching practice, in accordance with official documents and literature of science, as the emphasis of theoretical and practical activities as a catalyst of knowledge and the teaching-learning process.

Nesta premissa, e com fins investigativos, o presente trabalho foi desenvolvido em uma disciplina do último período do Curso de Licenciatura Interdisciplinar em Ciências Naturais, de uma universidade pública do Paraná, que objetiva a aproximação dos estudantes em formação docente inicial com a realidade escolar. Nessa vivência observou-se a necessidade de materiais de apoio ao ensino de ciências, no último ano do ensino Fundamental II. Nessa perspectiva desenvolveu-se um material didático utilizando metodologia de pesquisa bibliográfica de atividades práticas/experimentais e modificações abrangendo conteúdos previstos no currículo escolar e no livro didático utilizado, cuja estrutura foi dividida em seis temas, numa abordagem do conteúdo específico associado a uma atividade prática/experimental. Cabe salientar, que este trabalho não se propunha a solucionar a diversidade de enfrentamentos que a educação brasileira apresenta, mas propor ferramentas diversificadas para trabalhar o conteúdo científico, oportunizadas pela vivência de ações investigativas na formação docente inicial na realidade da prática docente, em acordo com documentos oficiais e a literatura da área de ciências, quanto a ênfase de atividades teórico-práticas como propulsoras do conhecimento e do processo de ensino-aprendizagem.
