Guiding principles of teachers' training along the beginning of teaching in Paraná state

Resumo: This paper aims at presenting part of the results obtained in a research developed during the doctorate program, in which, among other aspects, the conceptual background that structured some subprojects of the Pibid (Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation) were identified regarding the guiding principles of teacher’s training and professionalism. It is a qualitative research, whose theoretical contribution was based on authors such as Shulman (1986); Tardif (2002); Gauthier et al. (1998). Data collection began on collecting documents associated to Pibid with the IES subproject coordinators’ help, and the content analysis was the adopted method. The results have indicated that the set of proposed categories was satisfactory to identify the conceptual bases present on the subprojects concerning the guiding principles of teacher’s training and professionalization, since it allowed systematizing and determining the main aspects that guide a given initial training model.

A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa e teve como aporte teórico autores como Shulman (1986); Tardif (2002); Gauthier et al. (1998). A coleta de dados ocorreu a partir do recolhimento de documentos relacionados ao Pibid junto aos coordenadores de subprojetos das IES participantes, e o método de análise adotado foi a análise de conteúdo.
