The State of Art on Brazilian researches relating Environmental Education to Architecture and Urbanism

Resumo: | This article aims to present a mapping and analysis of Brazilian researches that relate Environmental Education with Architecture and Urbanism. Thus, we set out to seek the academic productions inherent to this theme. For that, we carried out a mapping, of the State of the Art type, having as source of data collection the database of theses and dissertations of BDTD (Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations). The search period comprised the period between the years 2002 and 2018, in which we found 12 surveys (dissertations and theses), with the investigated characteristics. To guarantee the organization and rigor of the analysis, we adopted the content method, based on Bardin (1977). The results obtained revealed that the largest number of academic productions on the subject is concentrated in the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism, in the Southeast and South Region, respectively at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG and the University Federal University of Santa Catarina-UFSC. As for the research focuses, we verified the prevalence of research related to Environmental Education and Architecture of the built school environment. |

Assim, nos propusemos a buscar as produções acadêmicas inerentes a essa temática. Para tanto, realizamos um mapeamento, do tipo Estado da Arte, tendo como fonte de coleta de dados o banco de teses e dissertações da BDTD (Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações). O período de busca compreendeu o período entre os anos de 2002 e de 2018, no qual encontramos 12 pesquisas (dissertações e teses), com as características investigadas. Para garantir a organização e rigor da análise, adotamos o método de conteúdo, fundamentada em Bardin (1977). Os resultados obtidos revelaram que, o maior número de produções acadêmicas sobre a temática concentra-se no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo, da Região Sudeste e da Região Sul, respectivamente a da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG e a Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina-UFSC.
