A systematic review of the literature on the construction and use of 3D virtual worlds in Physics teaching

Resumo: This article presents the results of the search and analysis of articles, theses and dissertations published in Academic-Scientific Periodicals and in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations that deal with the construction and use of 3D Virtual Worlds (MV3D) in the educational field, with a focus on in Physics teaching. Through the literature review, guided by the Systematic Literature Review procedure, a total of 16 works were selected for the sample. As a result, an overview of the area was obtained, with an indication of the main characteristics of the studies, such as contents and platforms used in the development of MV3D, as well as contributions and potentialities in the teaching and learning process of Physics. Among them, the adequate use of three-dimensional technology resources stands out, reproducing with quality the real environments in a virtual world, allowing the association with the student's reality in a motivational perspective.

A través de la revisión bibliográfica, guiada por el procedimiento Systematic Literature Review, se seleccionaron un total de 16 obras para la muestra. Como resultado se obtuvo un panorama general del área, con indicación de las principales características de los estudios, como contenidos y plataformas utilizadas en el desarrollo de MV3D, así como aportes y potencialidades en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la Física. Entre ellos se destaca el uso adecuado de recursos tecnológicos tridimensionales, reproduciendo con calidad los ambientes reales en un mundo virtual, permitiendo la asociación con la realidad del estudiante en una perspectiva motivacional.Neste artigo são apresentados os resultados da busca e análise dos artigos, teses e dissertações publicados em Periódicos Acadêmico-Científicos e na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações que tratam da construção e utilização de Mundos Virtuais 3D (MV3D) no âmbito educacional, com foco no ensino de Física (EF). Através da revisão bibliográfica, norteada pelo procedimento de Revisão Sistemática da Literatura, um total de 16 trabalhos foram selecionados para a amostra. Como resultado, obteve-se um panorama da área, com a indicação das principais características dos estudos, como conteúdos e plataformas utilizadas no desenvolvimento de MV3D, bem como contribuições e potencialidades no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de Física.
