Resumo: This study aimed to identify and analyze the teacher’s perception regarding a student’s visit to an Anatomy Museum and the contribution of it to science and biology teaching and learning. The data were collected using questionnaire and interview and they were analyzed through content analysis. The answers were organized in three branches. The activities performed in the museum were positively evaluated by teachers who indicated aspects that could be improved, such as number of students in each visit; class content; and collection/materials. The teachers indicated the contribution of the visit to the formation of the students, highlighting the significant relationship between the Museum and the school learning. It is necessary that spaces such as the Anatomy Museum are organized and made available to the Brazilian population, especially for the students of basic education, contributing to the improvement of teaching and learning processes in Science and Biology. The constant evaluation of the activities, carried out with the collection of information from visiting teachers and students, is an important strategy for the improvement of the activities developed at the Museum.
