The results obtained point to a worrying absence of chemical safety in the curricula of the courses studied, which makes this research an important tool to leverage this area, not only in the Northeast region, but also in the other regions of Brazil.O artigo é derivado de resultados de projetos financiados pelo CNPq (Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cientifico e Tecnológico), envolvendo profissionais da Escola Politécnica de Saúde Joaquim Venâncio (EPSJV) / Instituto Oswaldo Cruz (IOC), Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública Sérgio Arouca (ENSP), todos localizados na Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (FIOCRUZ) / RJ, em parceria com a Faculdade de Farmácia, Odontologia e Enfermagem (FFOE), da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), e do Laboratório Central de Saúde Pública do Ceará (LACEN/CE).
