Resumo: | The current educational model requires the use of active virtual methodologies that contribute to an effective teaching and learning process. Human Developmental Biology is the area that encompasses Embryology and Histology, which study the processes of embryonic development and the tissues that make up the human body, respectively. Thus, the present work has as general objective to report the experience lived by students and a monitor of the discipline of Human Development Biology, from the Biological Sciences course (undergraduate and bachelor's degree) at the Federal University of Paraíba, about the virtual active methodologies used in the construction of activities during the academic period of the discipline. Of the 21 students regularly enrolled in the discipline, 19 participated in this work. The research was carried out using a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory approach, using quantitative assumptions for data analysis. During the course, the activities of mental map, association game, interactive panel, comic book, podcast, crosswords and construction of a virtual educational game were used. The activities significantly contributed to the knowledge formation process of students participating in the discipline, placing them as protagonists of their learning and encouraging individual and collective participation, supporting the construction and improvement of critical, scientific, academic, personal and professional sense of everyone involved in the activities. |
