Resumo: | The present article aims to expose the origin of domestic education in the state of Sergipe, since its first signs until the end of the 19th century. In this sense, we seek to understand the history of domestic education established in the shadow of the fragility and the trials of installation of the state public educational order presented in Sergipe, maintaining and giving survival to the teaching in the master's house and the family that, persist in the current educational reality, this time, under the contour of the "bank education". To carry out this task, we used the studies of Santos (2013); Santos (2011); Vasconcelos (2005) and Silva (2008), who, in their works, unveiled the existence of a private and domestic literacy network for over two centuries in our country, as well as, we observed the evidence of this practice in the teaching offers present in Sergipe's printed matter. We also count on the support of the legislation of Sergipe in the imperial period, which showed support and connivance with this practice. The fact is that its survival is due to the political and social connections that dictated the way of life of a population lacking public school initiatives, explaining its incentives and permanence. |

En este sentido, buscamos comprender la historia de la educación doméstica establecida a la sombra de la fragilidad y de los ensayos de instalación del orden educativo público estatal presentado en Sergipe, manteniendo y dando supervivencia a la enseñanza en la casa del amo y de la familia que, persisten en la realidad educativa actual, esta vez, bajo el contorno de la "enseñanza bancaria". Para llevar a cabo esta tarea, utilizamos los estudios de Santos (2013); Santos (2011); Vasconcelos (2005) y Silva (2008) quienes, en sus trabajos, develaron la existencia de una red de alfabetización privada y doméstica desde hace más de dos siglos en nuestro país, así como, observamos la evidencia de esta práctica en las ofertas de enseñanza presentes en los impresos de Sergipe. También contamos con el apoyo de la legislación de Sergipe en el período imperial, que mostró apoyo y connivencia con esta práctica. El hecho es que su supervivencia se debe a las conexiones políticas y sociales que dictaban el modo de vida de una población carente de iniciativas escolares públicas, lo que explica sus incentivos y su permanencia.O presente artigo tem por finalidade expor a origem da educação doméstica no estado de Sergipe, desde seus primeiros indícios até o final do século XIX. Nesse sentido, compreenderemos a história da educação doméstica instaurada à sombra da fragilidade e dos ensaios de instalação da ordem educativa pública estatal apresentada em Sergipe, mantendo e dando sobrevida ao ensino na casa do mestre e da família que, persistem na realidade educacional atual, desta vez, sob o contorno do “ensino de banca”. Para dar cabo dessa tarefa, nos utilizamos dos estudos de Santos (2013); Santos (2011); Vasconcelos (2005) e Silva (2008) que, em suas referidas obras, desvenderam a existência de uma rede de letramento de cunho particular e doméstico durante mais de dois séculos em nosso país, bem como, observamos os indícios dessa prática nas ofertas de ensino presentes nos impressos sergipanos. Contamos também com o apoio da legislação sergipana no período imperial que, demonstrava apoio e conivência com essa prática. Fato é que, sua sobrevivência se deve aos enlaces políticos e sociais que ditaram o modo de vida de uma população carente em iniciativas públicas escolares, explicando seus incentivos e permanências.
