Resumo: The article relate an analysis of Brechtian gestures like aesthetic value of the Capitu microseries (2008) by Luiz Fernando Carvalho. The aim is to approximate with the appropriate congruences, the gesture dimension of Brecht's epic theater to the audiovisual point of view of adaptation, whose reading path includes the protection of theoretical contributions from Theater Theory, of cinematographic narratology and performance studies, in the analysis of scenes that best align with the critical-interpretative perspective adopted. We begin by broadening the notion of Brechtian gesture, focusing on scenic composition, metafictionality and mise-en-scène. So, gestural aesthetics is read as one of the multiple components of the wide range of expressive signs of the polyvalent language of the microseries, that assimilates different devices and combinations to expand the horizons of meaning.

La idea es acercar, con las debidas coherencias, la dimensión gestual del teatro épico de Brecht a la óptica audiovisual de la adaptación, cuyo camino de lectura comporta la tutela de aportes teóricos provenientes de la Teoría del Teatro, de la Narratología cinematográfica y de los Estudios de la performance, en el análisis de escenas que mejor se aproximen a la perspectiva crítico interpretativa adoptada. Comenzamos ampliando la noción de gesto brechtiano, centrándonos en la composición escénica, la metaficción y la mise-en-scène. Así, la estética gestual es leída como uno de los múltiples componentes del amplio cuadro de signos expresivos del lenguaje polivalente de la miniserie, que asimila diferentes dispositivos y combinaciones para ampliar los horizontes de sentido.O artigo coteja uma análise da gestualidade brechtiana como valor estético da microssérie Capitu (2008), de Luiz Fernando Carvalho. O intuito é aproximar, com as devidas congruências, a dimensão gestual do teatro épico de Brecht à ótica audiovisual da adaptação, cujo caminho de leitura comporta a tutela de contributos teóricos provenientes da Teoria do teatro, da Narratologia cinematográfica e dos Estudos da performance, na análise de cenas que melhor se alinham à perspectiva crítico-interpretativa adotada.
