Summary: The article initially addresses death as the theme of clown shows performed by the author and clown in her doctoral research, within a perspective intertwined with Nietzsche's tragic thought in the affirmation of life. Faced with the worsening of the health and social crisis that erupted in the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the confrontation of death through comic and clown poetics comes to be considered from new angles and questions by the author, in view of the of the ostentatious and dominant necropolitics (Mbembe, 2016) of the far-right government in the presidency of Brazil in the period. From this context, some questions are posed about artistic creation, such us how to face what kills (us), saddens and oppresses (us), through play and creation of humor in clown art in favor of life.

Ante el recrudecimiento de la crisis sanitaria y social desatada por la pandemia del COVID-19 en el país, el enfrentamiento de la muerte a través de la poética cómica y payasesca empieza a ser considerado desde nuevos ángulos y cuestionamientos por la autora, frente a la necropolítica (Mbembe, 2016) explícita y dominante del gobierno de extrema derecha en la presidencia de Brasil en el período. Desde ese contexto, se plantean algunas preguntas sobre la creación artística, siendo una de ellas cómo enfrentar lo que (nos) mata, entristece y oprime (a nosostros), a través del juego y la producción de humor en el arte payasesco en favor de la vida.O artigo, inicialmente, aborda a morte como tema de espetáculos palhacescos realizados pela autora e palhaça em sua pesquisa de doutorado, dentro de uma perspectiva entrelaçada com o pensamento trágico da afirmação da vida em Nietzsche. Diante do acirramento da crise sanitária e social eclodida na pandemia por covid-19 no país, o enfrentamento da morte por meio da poética cômica e palhacesca passa a ser considerado sob novos ângulos e questionamentos pela autora, tendo em vista a necropolítica (Mbembe, 2016) escancarada e imperante do governo de extrema-direita na presidência do Brasil no período.
