Resumo: This article discusses the staging of Álbum de família by Grupo Galpão from Belo Horizonte in 1990. Created in  1982 and recognized as one of the most important groups in the country, Galpão has a long trajectory, and many stagings that dialogue with social issues through popular lens. The editing of Nelson Rodrigues dramatic text, directed by Eid Ribeiro was a milestone in the group´s career, especially because it was a tragic play. In this text, we discuss the assembly project and also the importance of Nelson Rodrigues work and the meaning of its reinterpretation in BH at the beginning of the 1990s.

Creado en 1982 y reconocido como uno de los grupos de teatro más importante del país, el Galpão tiene una larga trayectoria y numerosas puestas en escena que hablan de los problemas sociales a través de la lente popular. La escena del texto dramático de Nelson Rodrigues, dirigida por Eid Ribeiro, marcó la carrera del grupo, especialmente porque fue un espectáculo trágico. En este texto, debatimos el proyecto de montaje, la importancia de la obra de Nelson Rodrigues y el significado de su reinterpretación en BH a principios de los años 1990.Este artigo discute a encenação de Álbum de família promovida pelo Grupo Galpão de Belo Horizonte, em 1990. Criado em 1982 e reconhecido como um dos mais importantes grupos de teatro do país, o Galpão possui longa trajetória e inúmeras encenações que dialogam com questões sociais pela chave do popular. A montagem do texto dramático de Nelson Rodrigues, sob direção de Eid Ribeiro, marcou a carreira do grupo, especialmente por ser um espetáculo trágico.
