Resumo: This interview was conducted with Professor Solange Galvão Coutinho, lecturer at the Department of Design and the Graduate Program in Design at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Professor Coutinho researches in the areas of design/education, graphic language and Brazilian graphic memory. The aim of this interview is to get to know the researcher's professional career and her approach to teaching and research in design and education. Furthermore, this interview seeks to understand her experiences with the Information Design Research Group (GP InfoDesign) and the International Network on Design/Education (GP RIDE), looking at recent research and how these studies contribute to the integration of design and education.

La profesora se dedica a la investigación en las áreas de Diseño/Educación, Lenguaje Gráfico y Memoria Gráfica Brasileña. El objetivo de esta entrevista es conocer la trayectoria profesional de la investigadora, así como su aproximación a la docencia y a la investigación en Diseño y Educación. También pretende comprender sus experiencias con el Grupo de Investigación en Diseño de la Información (GP InfoDesign) y la Red Internacional de Diseño/Educación (RIDE), analizando investigaciones recientes y cómo estos estudios contribuyen a la integración del diseño y la educación.Esta entrevista foi conduzida com a profa. Dra. Solange Galvão Coutinho, docente do Departamento de Design e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Design da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). A professora dedica-se a pesquisas nas áreas de Design/Educação, Linguagem Gráfica e Memória Gráfica Brasileira. O objetivo desta entrevista é conhecer a trajetória profissional da pesquisadora, assim como sua abordagem de ensino e pesquisa em Design e Educação.
