Cartography of collaborative and participatory practices: developments and powers

Resumo: | This article analyzes the multiplicity of terms adopted to characterize collaborative and participatory artistic practices, therefore, it lists definitions that emerged from the 1990s and their particularities. This study is justified both by suggesting a mapping and a chronological organization of these studies and these ways of working in the field of art, as well as for valuing the specificities of these theoretical approaches, distinguishing them: new genre of public art, art of the margins, community-based art, relational aesthetics, dialogic art, interventionist art, socially engaged art, emergence aesthetics, social turn, participatory art, pedagogical turn and collaborative art. Among the objectives of this research is to reflect on the approach of the public with this trend of contemporary production, encouraged by several authors located in different local contexts. For this, a qualitative approach and a bibliographic survey were established, dealing with contributions from the main theorists, such as: Suzanne Lacy, (1994), Bruce Barber, (1996), Deidre Williams (1997), Nicolas Bourriaud (1998) Grant H. Kester (1998, 2004, 2011, 2012), Jonas Ekeberg (2003), Claire Bishop (2006, 2008, 2012) e Reinaldo Laddaga (2006). |

Este estudio se justifica tanto al sugerir un mapeo y una organización cronológica de estos estudios como de estos. formas de trabajar en el campo del arte, así como por valorar las especificidades de estos enfoques teóricos, distinguiéndolos: nuevo género de arte público, arte de los márgenes, arte comunitario, estética relacional, arte dialógico, arte intervencionista, socialmente arte comprometido, estética de emergencia, giro social, arte participativo, giro pedagógico y arte colaborativo. Entre los objetivos de esta investigación está reflexionar sobre el acercamiento del público con esta corriente de producción contemporánea, incentivada por varios autores ubicados en diferentes contextos locales. Para ello, se estableció un enfoque cualitativo y un levantamiento bibliográfico, abordando aportes de los principales teóricos, tales como: Suzanne Lacy, (1994), Bruce Barber, (1996), Deidre Williams (1997), Nicolas Bourriaud (1998) Grant H. Kester (1998, 2004, 2011, 2012), Jonas Ekeberg (2003), Claire Bishop (2006, 2008, 2012) e Reinaldo Laddaga (2006).Este artigo analisa a multiplicidade de termos adotados para caracterizar práticas artísticas colaborativas e participativas, para tanto, elenca definições que surgiram a partir da década de 1990 e suas particularidades. A investigação se justifica tanto por sugerir um mapeamento e uma organização cronológica desses estudos e desses modos de atuar no campo da arte, bem como por valorizar as especificidades dessas abordagens teóricas, distinguindo-as: novo gênero de arte pública, arte de margens, arte baseada em comunidades, estética relacional, arte dialógica, arte intervencionista, arte socialmente engajada, estética de emergência, virada social, arte participativa, virada pedagógica e arte colaborativa. Entre os objetivos desta pesquisa está refletir sobre a aproximação do público com essa tendência da produção contemporânea, incentivada por diversos autores situados em diferentes contextos locais.
