Resumo: We intend to build reflections about the relationship between museum and art history, from the perspective of the discourses construction. For that we will bring discussions about the museum - as well as the archive and the library - from authors such as Michel Foucault and Jacques Derrida, who approach these institutions as being legitimate to affirm narratives. Then we will seek to sustain on the one hand the relationship between structure, environment and modernity; and on the other hand its transformation to poststructuralism, the dissolution of the specific medium for the art work and postmodernity.

Con este fin, traeremos discusiones sobre el museo, así como el archivo y la biblioteca, de autores como Michel Foucault y Jacques Derrida, quienes consideran que estas instituciones son legítimas para afirmar narrativas. Luego buscaremos sostener, por un lado, la re-lación entre estructura, ambiente y modernidad; y, por otro lado, su transformación al postestructuralismo, la disolución del medio específico para la obra de arte y la posmodernidad.Pretendemos construir reflexões sobre a relação entre museu e história da arte, a partir da perspectiva da construção de discursos. Para tanto traremos discussões sobre o museu – assim como o arquivo e a biblioteca – a partir de autores como Michel Foucault e Jacques Derrida, que abordam essas instituições como sendo legitimadas a afirmar narrativas. Em seguida buscaremos sustentar por um lado a relação entre estrutura, meio e modernidade; e por outro lado a sua transformação para o pós-estruturalismo, a dissolução do meio específico para a obra de arte e a pós modernidade.
