From relational aesthetics to relationant aesthetics: notes on the paradigm changing in Nicolas Bourriaud’s thought

Resumo: | The article aims to suggest a significant paradigm shift taking place whitin one of the most influential theoretical models in the role of contemporary aesthetic productions and debates, namely, the notion of “relational aesthetics”, as it was conceived by the theorist and french curator Nicolas Bourriaud. It shows how in the last exhibitions curated by Bourriaud, the Anthropocene theme, that is, the new geological era in which humanity would be entering, gains a fundamental hegemony in artistic productions and aesthetic debates, and demands an expressive revision of central postulates for the consolidation of such relational aesthetics, especially with regard to the primacy of inter-human relations and the question of accelerating radicant flows. |

Il montre comment, dans les dernières expositions organisées par Bourriaud, le thème de l’Anthropocène, c’est-à-dire la nouvelle ère géologique dans laquelle l’humanité entrerait, acquiert une hégémonie fondamentale dans les productions artistiques et les débats esthéthiques, et exige une révision expressive des postulats centraux pour la consolidation de cette esthéthique relationnelle, notammant au regard de la primauté des relations interhumaines et de la question de l’accélération des flux radicants.O artigo tem como objetivo sugerir uma significativa mudança de paradigma em curso no interior de um dos modelos teóricos mais influentes no rol das produções e debates estéticos na contemporaneidade, a saber, a ideia de estética relacional, tal como foi concebida pelo teórico e curador francês Nicolas Bourriaud.
