Resumo: This article analyzes the disaster occurred in Córrego do Feijão (Brumadinho-MG) from the visual work When Time Lasts a Ton, by the artists Bárbara Lissa and Maria Vaz, who compose the duo Paisagens Móveis. Emphasizing the importance of reconstructing the events and traumas of the past so that it is possible to build other futures, the work makes visible, through an experimental photographic process, the ghosts of this place devastated by the mining greed, covered by mud and by an atmosphere taken by the ore dust daily spread by the trains. Through the act of making visible the remains of the event it is possible to have, even if symbolically, a farewell.

Soulignant l'importance de reconstituer les événements et les traumatismes du passé afin de pouvoir construire d'autres avenirs, l'œuvre rend visible, à travers un processus photographique expérimental, les fantômes de ce lieu dévasté par l'avidité minière, recouvert de boue et d'une atmosphère prise par la poussière de minerai quotidiennement répandue par les trains. En rendant visibles les restes de l'événement, il est possible de faire, même si c'est de manière symbolique, un adieu.O presente artigo faz uma análise do desastre ocorrido em Córrego do Feijão (Brumadinho- MG) a partir do trabalho visual Quando o Tempo Dura um Tonelada, das artistas Bárbara Lissa e Maria Vaz, que compõem o duo Paisagens Móveis. Enfatizando a importância de reconstituir os acontecimentos e traumas do passado para que seja possível construir outros futuros, o trabalho torna visíveis, através de um processo fotográfico experimental, os fantasmas deste local devastado pela ganância da mineração, encoberto pela lama e uma atmosfera tomada pela poeira de minério diariamente espalhada pelos trens.
