Contaminations between concepts: a look at creation and thought with Gustav Mahler

Resumo: This article deals with experience, thinking and creation, recognizing that the themes are broad, complex, and suggest many paths. Thus, we seek intertwining between such concepts in three topics, making three relationships between: a) experience and creation; b) creation and invention; and, finally, c) creation and thought, a search for tunings with Gustav Mahler. We try to move these concepts, dialoguing with the theories of Andrei Tarkovsky (2010), Marilena Chaui (1995, 2002), Jorge Larrosa Bondia (2002) and George Steiner (2003), among others. A clipping to also think about these concepts, that is, possible listening, which would be the tunings with the work of Mahler (1860-1911). Finally, in the company of this austrian czech conductor and composer, I venture a brief dialogue, tuning with the artist's career, in a cooperative look to think about the connections between the concepts of experience, invention, thought and creation. The three topics I chose allowed me to think about the dynamic character that surrounds creation and its processes. The reading of Steiner, Tarkovsky among others, brings us to different rather than new conceptions of creation processes - both the existence of an ontological value of creation and its universality can be questioned as historically localizable ideologies. Thus, the crossings of writing and text creation oscillate between the personal experience of artists cut out for this text and the theoretical interrogations caused by such cutouts. I sought to investigate creation as experience, a sometimes nervous structure of consciousness when we communicate with ourselves and others, especially in the field of art.

Se busca, de esta forma, el entrelazamiento entre estos conceptos en tres temas, haciéndose tres relaciones entre: a) experiencia y creación; b) creación e invención; y finalmente, c) creación y pensamiento, una búsqueda de afinaciones con Gustav Mahler. Buscamos mover estos conceptos, dialogando con las teorías de Andrei Tarkovsky (2010), Marilena Chaui (1995, 2002), Jorge Larrosa Bondia (2002) y George Steiner (2003), entre otros autores, con un recorte para pensar también sobre estos conceptos, es decir, posibles escuchas, que serían las afinaciones con la obra de Mahler (1860-1911). Finalmente, en compañía de este regente y compositor checo austríaco, me arriesgo a un breve diálogo, sintonizando con el viaje del artista, en una mirada cooperativa para comprender mejor las conexiones entre los conceptos de experiencia, invención, pensamiento y creación. Los tres temas que elegí permitieron evaluar el carácter dinámico que implica la creación y sus procesos. La lectura de Steiner, Tarkovsky y otros autores nos lleva a concepciones diferentes y no nuevas, sobre los procesos de creación: tanto la existencia de un valor ontológico de la creación como su universalidad pueden cuestionarse como ideologías históricamente localizables. Así, los cruces de escritura y creación de texto oscilan entre la experiencia personal de los artistas recortados para este texto y las preguntas teóricas provocadas por tales recortes. Traté de investigar la creación como una experiencia, una estructura a veces nerviosa de la conciencia cuando nos comunicamos con nosotros y con los demás, especialmente en el campo del arte.O presente artigo versa sobre experiência, pensamento e criação, reconhecendo que os temas são amplos, complexos, e sugerem muitos percursos. Buscam-se, assim, entrelaçamentos entre tais conceitos em três tópicos, fazendo-se três relações entre: a) experiência e criação; b) criação e invenção; e, por último, c) criação e pensamento, uma busca de afinações com Gustav Mahler. Procura-se movimentar tais conceitos, dialogando com as teorias de Andrei Tarkovsky (2010), Marilena Chaui (1995, 2002), Jorge Larrosa Bondia (2002) e George Steiner (2003), dentre outros autores, com um recorte para também pensarmos sobre esses conceitos, ou seja, escutas possíveis, que seriam as afinações com a obra de Mahler (1860-1911). Por fim, na companhia deste regente e compositor checo austríaco, arrisco um breve diálogo, afinações com o percurso do artista, em um olhar cooperativo para pensar as conexões entre os conceitos de experiência, invenção, pensamento e criação. Os três tópicos que elegi permitiram pensar no caráter dinâmico que envolve criação e seus processos. A leitura de Steiner, Tarkovsky e outros autores, remete-nos a diferentes e não novas concepções sobre processos de criação – tanto a existência de um valor ontológico da criação quanto a sua universalidade podem ser questionadas como ideologias historicamente localizáveis. Assim, os atravessamentos da escrita e criação de texto oscilam entre a experiência pessoal de artistas recortadas para este texto e as interrogações teóricas provocadas por tais recortes.
