The podcast Entrelínguas as an internationalization tool

Resumo: | Internationalization actions are usually perceived to be limited to a geographical mobility of individuals. However, considering the context of the virtual era in which we are living in, is it possible to develop internationalization through the use of digital tools? This study aims to analyze the possibility of developing actions to foster internationalization in Secondary Education, more specifically in the context of the Federal Network of Vocational, Scientific and Technological Education, as well as investigates how these actions could promote a more plural perspective on the teaching of languages (considering both vernacular and foreing languages). Thus, the podcast Entrelínguas is understood as an internationalization action, in which linguistic aspects of Portuguese, English and Spanish are discussed, considering issues related to the teaching of languages in a globalized world, through dialogues with members of the international community. Our theoretical background is based on the works of Knight (2003; 2004; 2020), Freire (2013), Moita Lopes (2013), among others. These studies led us to reflect upon the aspects of internationalization, the podcast tool itself and the teaching of languages connected to the communicative demands of contemporaneity. The investigation aimed to understand how the Entrelínguas podcast could answer the aforementioned questions, by analyzing the educational appropriation of it. With a total of 690 plays, the podcast was listened to in a number of different countries and could be seen as a linguistic bridge, a resource that may foster internationalization from the school environment. |

Contudo, em um cenário marcado pela era virtual, sobressai o questionamento se é possível desenvolver a internacionalização a partir da presença de ferramentas digitais. Neste artigo, busca-se analisar se seria possível desenvolver ações de incentivo à internacionalização no ensino médio, mais particularmente no contexto da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica do Brasil, ao mesmo tempo em que se investiga de que maneira tais ações poderiam instigar um olhar mais plural sobre o ensino de línguas (tanto no que se refere ao vernáculo quanto às línguas estrangeiras). Para tanto, parte-se da observação do podcast Entrelínguas como uma ação de internacionalização, em que são discutidos os aspectos linguísticos do Português, do Inglês e do Espanhol, considerando-se as questões inerentes ao ensino de línguas em um mundo globalizado, por meio de um diálogo, inclusive, com membros da comunidade internacional. Para subsidiar o estudo, as leituras de Knight (2003; 2004; 2020), Freire (2013), Moita Lopes (2013), dentre outros, foram relevantes para refletir sobre os aspectos da internacionalização, da própria ferramenta do podcast e do ensino de línguas conectados com as demandas comunicativas da contemporaneidade. Procurou-se compreender de que maneira o Entrelínguas responderia aos questionamentos expostos, analisando-se a apropriação educativa de tal produção no cenário da educação profissional.
