Resumo: | Starting from the premise that writing in Higher Education is one of the concerns in the academic field, this work aims to analyze the potentials intrinsic to academic literacy and how they reflect in the teaching of reading and writing and in the training of literary readers at school. As a guiding question, we ask: how does academic literacy reverberate in teaching practice (reading and writing) and in the training of literary readers at school? For this, a bibliographic research was carried out, with a qualitative approach. It is concluded that the academically literate teacher has possibilities to appropriate pedagogical strategies that directly contribute to the literacy process, as well as to the training of literary readers. |

It is concluded that the academically literate teacher has possibilities to appropriate pedagogical strategies that directly contribute to the literacy process, as well as to the training of literary readers.Partindo da premissa de que a escrita no Ensino Superior é uma das preocupações no âmbito acadêmico, este trabalho objetiva analisar as potencialidades intrínsecas ao letramento acadêmico e como estas refletem no ensino da leitura e escrita e na formação de leitores literários na escola. Como questão norteadora, indaga-se: como o letramento acadêmico reverbera na prática de ensino (da leitura e da escrita) e na formação de leitores literários na escola? Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de abordagem qualitativa.
