About metrics and indexing: some approximations of Revista Práxis Educacional on Google Scholar

Resumo: This article aims to present the current composition of the H and i10 indexes of Revista Práxis Educacional on its Google Scholar profile, as well as some analyzes resulting from the triangulation of data from articles attributed with index-i10, in the period analyzed between 2015 to 2019. For this purpose, a case study was carried out, using a quantitative analysis based on the data extracted from the journal's profile, based on a survey of the metrics and a comparative study of the examined bibliography. The results found point to advances in the increase of these indexes, as well as allow the implementation of better strategies regarding the monitoring and evolution of articles published in the journal.

O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar a atual composição dos índices H e i10 da Revista Práxis Educacional em seu perfil no Google Acadêmico, bem como também algumas análises resultantes da triangulação de dados advindos dos artigos atribuídos com índice-i10, no período analisado entre 2015 a 2019. Para tanto fora realizado um estudo de caso, utilizando-se uma análise quantitativa a partir dos dados extraídos do perfil da revista, om base em pesquisa das métricas e do estudo comparativo da bibliografia examinada. Os resultados encontrados apontam avanços quanto o incremento desses índices, bem como permitem a implementação de melhores estratégias quanto o acompanhamento e a evolução dos artigos publicados na revista.
