History of teacher training in Ceará: from normal school to virtual learning environment

Resumo: The preservation of the memory and the history of the training of teachers in Brazil and Ceará consists on the multiple possible experiences in research. This study's objective is to discuss the strategies adopted on the expansion o of the demand for schooling  in the public system, emphasizing the teachers formation program directed to the teachers. This jobs tessitura was ruled  on the quality approach and achored itself on the writings of Nóvoa (1992), Vilella (2008), and Hernandes (2017). This investigation's results show that the teatchers' training has been through transformation and adequation, speaking from both the educational policies perspective, from the regulatory mark and from the social and educational needs point of view, to fulfill the socioeconomic demands. The conclusion is that the teachers' training, since the Normal School to the virtual environment dedicated to learning, revealed and denounced the gaps in relation to the public school, secular, free and good quality.

Este estudo objetivou discutir as estratégias adotadas no cenário de expansão da demanda por escolarização no sistema público, com ênfase sobre os programas de formação direcionados para os professores. A tessitura do trabalho foi pautada na abordagem qualidade e ancorou-se nos escritos de Nóvoa (1992), Vilella (2008) e Hernandes (2017). Nos resultados apresentados na investigação percebe-se que a formação docente passou por transformações e adequações, seja do ponto de vista das políticas educacionais, do marco regulatório, das necessidades sociais e educacionais, para atender às demandas socioeconômicas.
